Five Best Movies Of All Time

I have decided to choose what the top five movies of all time are. The movies will be chosen from my opinion and the movies earnings. The movies will also be based upon reviews, cost to make and screen effects.

Coming in fifth on our list is the movie "In Time". With an estimated budget of $40,000,000. The movie did surprising well in choosing the actors, and had many great camera effects. The movie was well edited and really had a lot to offer in story line, plot and setting making a profit of $103,200,000.

In fourth on our list was the film "Thor" I thoroughly enjoyed this movie in story-line and conflicts. With an estimated budget of $150,000,000. The characters fulfilled their rolls and then some. Making a nice sum of $449,326,618. I Really liked this movie!

In third on our wonderful list is "The Hangover" The movie was hilarious! With a budget of $35,000,000 the producers had money to spend. Getting amazing actors, setting, story-line. It's no surprise that the movie brought in a whopping $467,483,912. I really enjoyed this movie from start to finish. I nearly cried laughing.

In second we have "The Avengers" This action packed film wasn't just about action, it had a really good story-line as well. It had all of my favorite childhood superheroes. Spending approximately $220,000,000 the producers could do
practically anything they wanted. Bringing in $1,481,585,111.

I saved the best for last. Avatar. Simply loved it. I watched this movie three times. When the extended version came out I couldn't wait to get to the theaters. With a budget of $237,000,000. Making $2,782,275,172 it didn’t surprise me at all. They well deserved it for such a great job!

I strongly recommend these films, you will not regret seeing these movies. Save them for a rainy day, watch them tonight. I don't care, just see these movies! I honestly didn’t have anything bad to say about any of the movies they were all well done, after all they are the best five movies of all time in my opinion.

Finding Forrester

Finding Forrester, starring Sean Connery, and Rob Brown, was released on December 19, 2000. With an estimated budget of $43,000,000 Columbia productions did an astounding job, at creating this movie. The main actors (Sean Connery as Forrester) and (Rob Brown as Jamal) also did some magnificent acting, and really got the meaning of the story across to its viewers.

The movie is basically about a young man, who grew up in a bad neighborhood. The movie takes off when Jamal (the young man) is asked to change schools. Jamal then meets Forrester (a writer). After some conflict between the two, Forrester agrees to help Jamal with his writing. The two eventually become friends, but their friendship is tested numerous times throughout the movie. This leads us to the meaning of the story which is about friendship, devotion and determination.
This film is by far one of the best of its genre I’ve ever seen. However, with its budget I feel that the scenery could have been set a little better, to create a more intense atmosphere throughout the film. A movie that reminds me of this one is Coach Carter, the story and atmosphere is a bit similar. However, in my opinion it was the best movie in comparison to any others.

I personally found the quality of the film superb; the creativity of the film simply dumbfounds me. The acting was amazing, to say the least. I really felt as though I could connect with the characters throughout the course of the movie.

The theme, ah yes the theme. Many probably didn’t catch the theme, even though it’s clearly stated. When Forrester reads the piece about friendship written by Jamal, it really jumps out, though it hinted at this long before it clearly stated it. It hinted at it using Forrester’s and Jamal’s relationship, and the development of the relationship.

I give Finding Forrester two thumbs up, and a five star rating. It was an amazing piece of work (to say the least).

Review on the Review

http://www.reelviews.net/php_review_template.php?identifier=1931

This article was decent, I however wasn't the biggest fan as I found it spoiled the film. I also found that the author made to many references to different movies.

The article was somewhat hard to follow, also it told every detail and exciting point in the movie. The article may have been good for some people but for the average person I wouldn't recommend that paticular review.

I liked that the author made personal references in the article, and enjoyed reading those parts.

Writing Inventory

Writing Inventory In writing, I as many others have strengths and wekanesses. I do not consider myelf aa a strong writer when it comes to "essay" writing. However, I do enjoy doing narrative pieces. I find when I'm the narrator of the story that it is in my control, and can go in any direction I please. I do not write in my spare time, I usually only write when I'm really inspired or when I have to in classes. Sadly I do not really enjoy writing, as I find my imagination limited, but I do my best in all my pieces. I usually get my ideas for writing from past experiences, something that I have done, or heard about.

African Safari

African Safari Deep in the heart of Africa lies the subject of our story. A young male tiger, who has only just begun his life. Tigers are most definitely one of the most ferocious animals on this unforgiving place we like to refer to as Earth. Yet this creature in particular is not guaranteed another day, for it is still unconscious of the competition of his lives sole survival on this cruel planet we like to refer to as Earth. T’was the first day our subject’s first day that it has ever been alone, and yet it has already set out on it’s long journey, in search of where he belongs in this world. Yet nightfall is just around the bend. With no food within the past twenty-four hours the animal must find refuge soon, or it will have been a very shortly lived trip for our friend. Ah there he is. Look! He has finally located his first meal, a sickly gazelle. The creature must make this hunt fast, as he has little energy left in his body. He waits, for that perfect moment... At last he breaks, long powerful strides, he pounces. Moments later he’s on the animal and taking it’s last few second of life away. He Tightens his powerful jaws, as they fill with blood, the struggle ends. Life for our friend has yet again sustained itself for another day, but nothing is certain, in these unforgiving lands of South Africa. As the day winds to an end the creature spies a large tree, there he will spend the wee hours of the night. When finishing his long climb up the massive tree, he instantly falls into a deep sleep. I ask myself, what might he be dreaming about? Perhaps life back home with his mother? Maybe about a previous hunt in past days? Unfortunately we will never know...Have you noticed how he acts as though the world is his kingdom? I have. But little does he know poachers are chasing his trail and are beginning to close in. Snap, snap, crack, branches break. The animal quickly awakens from his deep slumber, only to see four legs, two chests, two sparkling rods of iron and wood, and two human faces gazing upwards in the far off trees. He leaps, his massive body thumps loudly on his paws, alerting the poachers. He runs, not knowing where, not knowing why but on pure instinct to run. Out into the opening of a field and up on a slight mound. He stops. Glares back at the direction of the approaching poachers. He sees them. Opening his enormous mouth he lets out a screeching roar. Almost as though adding to the roar a loud thunderous boom winds across the savanna. The massive animal collapses, stunned, he lie there bleeding out. Unable to move, he slowly goes limp, closes his eyes, and dreams. This time he dreams about his mother, he dreams of her pleasant face, she tells him in her own way that he’s safe, yet he doesn’t hear a sound. He just knows by her presence that everything is okay. The thumping of the creature’s heart begins to slow, then slower, and slower, and then it goes silent. Ceasing, never to beat again. Here lies the final resting place of one of the most magnificent animals, that have ever walked on the face of this unforgiving place, we like to refer to as Earth.
